The conference will take place on the Science Site at Durham University.
The Calman Learning Centre will be our main hub and the venue for registration, keynote lectures, panel sessions, refreshments and some of the parallel sessions.
Some of the parallel sessions will also be held in adjascent buildings. Namely, Earth Sciences and Engineering.
Tuesday 26th July: The wine reception (including poster session) will be held in the Cathedral Cloister. This is approximately a 15 minute walk from the Calman Learning Centre or a 25 minute walk from College Accommodation.
We will then move on to Hatfield College (next to the Cathedral) for a BBQ and cash bar.
Wednesday 27th July: The conference dinner will be held in University College, The Castle. The walking times above also apply here.
Transport: If you require a taxi to either of the evening venues, please contact the conference reception desk who will be happy to assist.

Because of its age, nearly a thousand years old, not all parts of Durham Cathedral are accessible to all visitors. The Cathedral has produced its own accessibility guide, along with contact details for advice.
